My TV won't Work, how do I fix it?

We do test every TV before you arrive, however if a TV is not working for some reason there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1) Check the input source, It should be set to one of the HDMI sources, if it is already set to one HDMI source try one of the others before moving onto the next step.

2)Check the connection, make sure that everything is plugged in such as the TV itself, the Spectrum Reviecer box, and the HDMI cord on both of these boxes, as well as the cable satitlite feeder cord.

3)Turn everything off and on

4)Unplug the Specturm Reciever box, wait 20 secounds then plug it back in.

5)If you have tried all of these steps and still can not get the TV to work please reach out to our AI Chatbot and a staff member will be notified of the situation.

The power went out in my unit, what should I do?

In the rare occurance your power goes out you may start by first troubleshooting the issue:

-Do you have excess things plugged into any power supply? If so please unpluge and replug in a new outlet to evenly distrubute the power utilization in the room.

-On the back side of the each building you will find breaker boxes that have been clearly labled. Please follow the instuctions below to reset the fuse.

If you feel uncomofrtable or are unable to troubleshoot the issue yourself simply reach out QUESTIONS chatbox and our emergency support staff will be notified.

If you are running the AC or Heater at the maximum setting please adjust the tempture as that will help stop the fuse from shorting. We reccomend anywhere between 68 and 74 Summer or Winter.

Resetting tripped breaker instructions

We understand that sometimes electrical issues can occur during your stay. If you experience a power outage or electrical malfunction in your room or suite, you may need to reset a fuse on the breaker box. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure your safety and the proper restoration of power:

  1. Locate the Breaker Box:
    • The breaker box is located behind or on the side of the building, it's a metal box mounted on a wall.
  2. Identify the Tripped Breaker:
    • Upon opening the breaker box, look for any switches that are in the middle position (neither fully on nor fully off). These are the tripped breakers.
  3. Turn Off the Tripped Breaker:
    • To reset the breaker, first switch it to the fully off position. This is usually indicated by moving the switch downward or to the left.
  4. Reset the Breaker:
    • After waiting for a few seconds, switch the breaker back to the fully on position (move the switch upward or to the right). You should hear a click indicating it has reset.
  5. Check Power Restoration:
    • Confirm if the power has been restored to your room or suite. If not, please repeat steps 3 and 4.
  6. Safety Precautions:
    • Ensure your hands are dry before touching the breaker box.
    • If the breaker continues to trip or if you notice any unusual smells or smoke, do not attempt to reset it again. Contact lodge management immediately.
